In this difficult year, the organisers of TDP’20 have attempted to provide support and resources for artists to do their work, and for the public to experience meaningful arts and social encounters inside venues in the safest possible environment. All our events on the ground had been organised with safety in mind, in line with Government and sectorial guidelines.
TDP’20 cancels events with sadness but takes this decision with no hesitation or regrets. We acknowledge and respect the work done by authorities to tackle this pandemic and save lives. We want to thank the artists from the bottom of our hearts for all the work and determination that they have put into preparing their public presentations at TDP’20.
We want to deeply thank all the members of the TDP’20 team, working intensely to deliver this year’s festival programme.
We want to thank our communities who responded so supportively and generously to the first live performance that took place last Saturday in Clonmel.
