Artistic Director of United Fall Emma Martin presents other scenes
Other Scenes is a personal piece I created with my daughter Rudi during the summer. The piece was inspired from my collected slow motion videos of her dancing on my phone over the years, and how her dancing connects me to my younger dancing self, when dance was freedom.
Watching a person move in slow motion allows the viewer to see the full expression and in-between moments that are often missed in real time.
